Anorina Morris “Samelia’s Mum”

by Anorina Morris

Anorina Morris is the creator of Samelia’s Mum blog. As a dedicated member of the craft community, Anorina found inspiration in arts and quilting blogs and decided to start her own. The blog’s name is a mixture of the names of her two children: Sam (6) and Amelia (5).

Anorina began blogging in 2010, using it as an outlet to document her craft endeavours after teaching herself the art of quilting. Now her blog also features family-friendly baking recipes, quilting tutorials, children’s craft activities, and home design.

She was also named one of the Kidspot Top 50 bloggers for 2012. Her work has been published in Homespun Magazine and Home Made Magazine. Anorina was an ambassador for Target, and has worked with GLAD, Woolworths, Philly, Kambrook, and Disney.

Samelia’s Mum demonstrates passion for craft, DIY, food and home décor. Anorina can often be found in her sewing studio, using her skills in sewing and quilting creating new projects to share on her blog. She tries to incorporate something crafty every day and is often caught thinking about her next project before completing the one already on the table. The success of her blog has also given birth to her own online fabric store where she sells a range of colourful patterned quilting fabrics.
